The church is the family of God, on the mission of God, for the glory of God.
Permanent joy is found not in God removing our hardships but rather by our finding refuge in him.
Lasting joy proceeds from no other source than the gospel.
Christ is to be treasured above all else because he became the righteous man so that we who are wicked might be made righteous.
The Gospel both leads those with burdens to be transparent about their struggles and those who help bear these burdens to do so with genuine care.
