Welcome! We meet Sunday mornings at 10:30AM at the Historic Howell Theater located at 315 E Grand River Ave, Howell, MI 48843.
The gospel informs everything we do as a church from the songs we sing, to the way we study the Bible verse by verse, to the way we pursue community and the ways we love our city. Our atmosphere is welcoming and warm. We invite you to grab a cup of coffee, catch up with friends or meet new ones as well.
Our services typically run for about an hour and 20 minutes and is designed to help us focus our hearts on God and grow together as a community. We will spend time together worshiping God through Scripture readings and singing. Next, we spend time learning from Scripture. We will walk through a passage, helping us understand what it means and how it applies to our lives today. This is a central part of our service, grounding us in God’s Word. We then share in communion, remembering Jesus’ sacrifice and celebrating the new life we have in Him. We will conclude our time with more singing.
Anchor Kids
We currently have a weekly nursey area for children infants – 4 years old and offer Anchor Kids for children 4 – 8 years old bi-monthly. This gives children the opportunity to play together, listen to a Bible story from the Jesus Storybook Bible, and work on an activity that goes along with the Bible story.
We value families worshipping together. For children who attend service, we have an activity sheet available. The activity sheet has scripture to follow along with the sermon, Gospel centered questions to talk with their family afterwards, a coloring section, and a space to take notes or doodle.
